Be the planter. Be the waterer. Be the gardener

S: 1 Corinthians 3:10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
O: We are part of the plan. We are to use the tools we have to further the kingdom. Sometimes it is our job to plant the seed, others to water it and others to reap the benefits of the harvest. As we walk this earth, it is our job to show others God’s grace and love. We may not realize that planting or watering at the time is being used.
A: Be a planter. Be a waterer. Be the gardner who watches and nourishes the plant to grow.
P: Lord, by knowing you more, I can become a part of growing your kingdom. Help me to use my gifts.

S:1 Kings 15:11 Asa did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father David had done.
O: How did Asa do what was right when the two generations before him did wrong in the eyes of the
Lord.
A: WE can overcome the wrong path if we let God lead us and do not give into the temptations of Satan and the world.
P: Lord, help lead us! Bring the Holy spirit into our lives. I pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones. I thank you for all those who are giving of their time and money to help others

Bible Journaling and S.O.A.P.
Many of the "Bigs" who attend the Hope Center are wanting to learn more about the Bible, but struggle where to start and how to learn. As the Director, I want to share with them and anyone who cares to read my daily scripture reading and my responses.

Years ago, I belong to a group of men who would S.O.A.P. on how they learned about the Bible. We would all read the same scriptures then we would follow the guide lines of S.O.A.P.
Scripture: Pick a scripture that speaks to you.
Opinion: Give your thoughts or opinion on the scripture.
A: Applies How does it apply in my life
Prayer Pray how it can help you.
