Expectations
Disciplinary Actions/ Consequences
It is our hope for all of the members to follow the expectations of the Hope Center. The environment of the Hope Center is a team effort which involves everyone. It is the responsibility of everyone to to take care of the Hope Center. That involves helping and making choices which help others and not harm them. Those who participate and follow the expectations will be welcomed to go on field trips and take part in our daily activities. If they choose to not follow the rules they will be given a warning, if they continue to behave in that manner, they will be asked to leave for the day and have to have a parent sign a paper of acknowledgement of their child’s behavior before their child is allowed to return.
If upon returning to the Hope Center, the behavior continues, your child will be suspended from the Hope Center and a conference with the parents will be scheduled with the Director before that child may return. The Director will determine the amount of time of the suspension.

Use of Cellphones
When members are at the Hope Center, we want them to be present with the people there. We ask them to put their phones away. We have noticed some members receive a phone call from their parent that they need which in some cases was not true. If you need to contact your child, please use the Hope Center phone (419)935-8900. Staff members will have phones near them to answer the phone during hours.

Tutoring Permission
The Hope Center will be working with the school this year to provide learning activities and to provide students who attend the Hope Center the opportunity to attend and receive help with their academics.
A key to being more successful is knowing the needs of the individual child and working with the school to meet those needs. By communicating with the school, those individual needs can be addressed.
The Hope Center and the Willard City schools will need your permission to share your child’s academic needs. Mr. Blanchard, the Hope Center Director and a school employee will be the liaison between the school and the Hope Center. The information will be used to meet the needs of the child during tutoring sessions or academic assistance for your child.
